We are a class IV Petrol and Diesel accredited MOT test station which means we are approved to test passenger carrying vehicles (up to eight passenger seats) if you are unsure if your vehicle falls into this category or if we can test it please call us on 0121 474 6344 or visit the VOSA website.

The MOT test is a minimum standard for road safety and as such you should be aware this is a snap shot of the condition of your car on the day it is presented. We obviously work to the standards set out by VOSA (the governing body) having to inspect your vehicle on approved equipment and to a given procedure. Some of the things we inspect are as follows (this is not an exhaustive list but just to give you an idea of some of the things we check).

The DVLA now allow you to Tax your car on-line (as long as you have a current MOT and insurance for that vehicle) at www.direct.gov.uk/taxdisc.

N.B. We do not remove the wheels and tyres as part of the test to inspect the condition of the brakes and will only report on wear if we can see the pads and discs through the wheels at the time of test. If, like most of our customers you require peace of mind that your car is in good working order making sure there are no hidden problems with brakes etc, we would recommend a full service following your MOT.
